· As we discuss the prayer needs, it reminds us of how much we need God.
· The accountability of coming together to pray helps us fight against the evil one, who will try anything to keep us from praying.
· A short passage from God’s Word helps us learn more about prayer each week.
· Prioritizing prayer meeting reinforces in us and our families that prayer is important.
· It builds up a habit and discipline of praying regularly.
· We are called to join together in prayer. Jesus said, “My house will be called a house of prayer”.
I hope you do pray at home, but won’t you consider praying with us Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. as well? I’ve never heard anyone leave prayer meeting and say, “Man, I wish I hadn’t come”!
