Next quarter, we’ll be working on a mission project that has ties to our church—the Joseph Thomas Foundation. Roenna Thomas’ son founded the organization which is named after her grandson. They collect medical supplies and support the families of medically fragile children all through our area. More information is coming soon on this!
I know most of you aren’t accustomed to being a part of associational ministry, but there’s a reason I keep bringing it up. Working together with other churches is so encouraging! We get to see how God is working in other parts of our broader community and it reminds me that our God is bigger than what we see here in our corner of the world at Cross Roads and in Fisher County.
Our next gathering will be on Sunday, April 28 at First Baptist Church in Aspermont. Would you consider saving that evening on your calendar? No, I mean right now. Write it in your planner or enter an event reminder on your phone for that day. I would really enjoy getting to share this joyous occasion with more of my church family and show other churches in the area how great Cross Roads is!
